On Saturday, 20 December, we are delighted to invite all LEHBC alumnae to the naming ceremony for the newest addition to our fleet. For the first time in nearly twenty years, we are welcoming a brand-new Empacher 8+, which will become our First Eight and will take to the water later in the season.

We are proud to announce that this boat will be named in honour of a coach who dedicated almost two decades to LEH, guiding and inspiring hundreds of alumnae. We can think of no better way to recognise his exceptional commitment and lasting contribution to LEHBC.

We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the arrival of this exciting new boat and to share in this special moment for the club.

You can join us for a row on on the river if you have rowed in the past five years and are at a good level of fitness. After that we will have mince pies and coffee back at the boat house!
