Kindness. Tolerance. Inclusion. Togetherness. Teamwork.
Just some of the values that are central to our ethos and that help make LEH such a special place. Generosity of spirit is part of who we are, what we believe in and how we behave towards others. The gift of a fine education is a huge privilege, and in an ideal world, the opportunities that an LEH education offers would be available to any bright girl, regardless of her family’s circumstances.
This year, we were thrilled to receive some very generous donations to our Bursary Fund and our Annual Fund from both current parents and alumnae. These will help us carry out vital refurbishments to the School Halls and enable us to offer an extra four fully funded bursary places that will have a transformational effect on the lives of these fortunate students.
These major donations have been supplemented by further funds, given by those who supported the Buy-a-Brick campaign or who donated their deposit to the Leavers’ Bursary Fund (or both!). This has been one of our most successful fundraising years to date and we cannot express our gratitude strongly enough for the kindness and generosity shown by the entire school community.
Our aim is to ensure that LEH is a school full of opportunity, challenge and friendship; a place to take risks and become bold; a place to discover passions and talents; a place that nurtures remarkable women.
With your help, we will be closer to making the opportunity of an LEH education available to any bright girl who wishes to come here, regardless of her family’s financial circumstances. Your participation and generosity will make a difference not only to our students but to our entire school community.

easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest online shopping fundraising site. As a community, we can raise money for the LEH Bursary Fund simply by going through the easyfundraising website every time we shop online. It doesn’t cost a penny extra, as the donations come directly from the retailers, and it’s really simple to use.
There are nearly 3,000 companies involved in the scheme, including Amazon, Marks and Spencer, Expedia, Booking.com, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury's, so you can collect on everything from groceries, electronics and fashion to household utilities. Each retailer will donate an average of 5% of the cost of your shopping to LEH
