Alumnae can play a vital part in supporting the school by sharing your inspiring stories, providing careers mentoring or making a financial gift. Please read more below and contact the Development and Alumnae team if you have any questions - we always love to hear from you!
Kindness. Tolerance. Inclusion. Togetherness. Teamwork.
Just some of the values that are central to our ethos and that help make LEH such a special place. Generosity of spirit is part of who we are, what we believe in and how we behave towards others. The gift of a fine education is a huge privilege, and in an ideal world, the opportunities that an LEH education offers would be available to any bright girl, regardless of her family’s circumstances.
This year, we were thrilled to receive some very generous donations to our Bursary Fund and our Annual Fund from both current parents and alumnae. These will help us carry out vital refurbishments to the School Halls and enable us to offer an extra four fully funded bursary places that will have a transformational effect on the lives of these fortunate students.
These major donations have been supplemented by further funds, given by those who supported the Buy-a-Brick campaign or who donated their deposit to the Leavers’ Bursary Fund (or both!). This has been one of our most successful fundraising years to date and we cannot express our gratitude strongly enough for the kindness and generosity shown by the entire school community.
Please support our Bursary Fund by buying a copy of L5 pupil Catherine James’ classical cross over CD for £9.99. All proceeds from the sale will help support our bursary students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to attend LEH.
The album is officially released on 4 December 2020, so we will be able to post out your copy then, in plenty of time for Christmas. Please ensure that your address is up-to-date on your Holles Connect account, or email it to us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you very much for your generosity.
Our aim is to ensure that LEH is a school full of opportunity, challenge and friendship; a place to take risks and become bold; a place to discover passions and talents; a place that nurtures remarkable women.
With your help, we will be closer to making the opportunity of an LEH education available to any bright girl who wishes to come here, regardless of her family’s financial circumstances. Your participation and generosity will make a difference not only to our students but to our entire school community.

easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest online shopping fundraising site. As a community, we can raise money for the LEH Bursary Fund simply by going through the easyfundraising website every time we shop online. It doesn’t cost a penny extra, as the donations come directly from the retailers, and it’s really simple to use.
There are over 4000 companies involved in the scheme, including M&S, Booking.com, Argos, John Lewis, Aviva and Waitrose, so you can collect on everything from groceries, electronics and fashion to household utilities and travel.
Shopping with AmazonSmile is an easy way to support the Bursary Fund at no extra cost to you. Amazon will make a donation to us of 0.5% of all eligible purchases that you make, when you do so via AmazonSmile.
You can use the same account on AmazonSmile as you would on Amazon.com and your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are all the same. You will find all of the same products, at the same prices, available on smile.amazon.co.uk and once you've nominated your chosen charity you can also activate it via the Amazon Shopping app (under settings) to make the process even more straightfoward.
