We are excited to launch a new community portal for alumnae and friends of the school - a place for former students, parents and staff to stay in touch, share memories, forge careers connections and offer their support to current students and younger alumnae.
Founded over 300 years ago, Lady Eleanor Holles has become a remarkable school encouraging girls to be courageous, hopeful, optimistic and determined - and we hope this website will facilitate this continued strength of spirit amongst our alumnae and the wider school community.
Please join, update your profile, share your stories and participate!
Best wishes,
Heather Hanbury
To celebrate and promote the spirit of LEH, we offer former students the opportunity to apply for the Alumnae Emerging Talent Award.
The school ethos is to encourage pupils to stretch themselves to become their best, most confident selves; to be supported by strong role models and be inspired by their peers; and to have the freedom to experiment and take on new challenges. To keep those much-cherished tenets alive, we encourage alumnae to nominate themselves or each other if they would benefit from the support of the alumnae community.
Awards of up to £1,000 are available to an alumna who has a talent in any field, who is looking to embark on a new project, undertake further professional training, help fund a placement, or is perhaps a business woman or fledgling entrepreneur needing our support. We’re looking to recognise the most deserving Remarkable Women, who have worked hard and have a real capability in their chosen area.
If you know someone you’d like to nominate, or if you want to nominate yourself, applications for the 2020 Award are now open. The deadline for submissions is 16 November 2020.
