Choral Society rehearsals on hold

Due to the new COVID regulations in school, we are no longer able to host this month's live rehearsals for the Choral Society at LEH.

Please note there will be no rehearsals on Sunday 9th, 16th or 23rd January. We will review the situation following the Government’s planned update on 26th January.

Director of Music Miranda Ashe says: “I am hoping things might seem a little brighter by the end of January so, at the moment, am still intending to go ahead with the concert on Saturday 12th March, if humanly possible.

“To that end, I have various ideas – I am hoping to email you the scores (or you can pop into LEH Reception to pick up hard copies, or ask us to post them if necessary) and record the individual SATB lines for the pieces for you.

“So that should mean you can prepare at home ready for whenever we can sing together again. I’m really sorry everyone – we just can’t take the risk as it stands.

“We will be in touch soon with the link to the website page with all the information/recordings on it. In the meantime, in the immortal words of Dame Vera, ‘we’ll meet again’…”
