St Giles’s Church, Cripplegate, provided a stunning venue for our annual Alumnae Carol Service on 10th December.

We welcomed over 200 alumnae, parents and friends to this beautiful and historic church, which has such a firm place in the historic roots of LEH.

Readings by Mrs Hanbury, Mrs Hughes and the Chair of Governors, Christopher Stokes helped to tell the traditional story of Christmas, alongside contributions from alumnae: Janet Bazley (LEH – 1965-1975), Gillian Keller (LEH – 1963-1970), Natasha Wallace (LEH - 1994-2001), Felicity Cork (LEH - 2001-1916) and Ruth parker (LEH – 1985-2018).

Carols and wonderful festive performances by the Holles Singers ensured that everybody was in the Christmas mood, and guests enjoyed a mince pie and glass of mulled wine after the service.
