Throwback Thursday photo St Paul's Cathedral

Do you recognise yourself in this wonderfully nostalgic photo of LEH pupils queuing outside St Paul's Cathedral in the 1960s? We'd love to hear your memories.
Many thanks to Lindy Schasiepen (LEH 1961-1970, neé Sampson) who sent us the photo.  She thinks it could be Miss Lacey’s memorial service. Miss Lacey was a much-loved Chemistry teacher and Miss Garwood Scott’s right-hand woman.

Our archive team would love more information, so please help us out if you can.

Lindy has identified Nicola Bristow and Vanessa Moore as fourth and fifth from the right. She also recalled shopping trips to Peter Jones in Sloane Square to buy the uniforms, including the wonderful velour hats seen here.

We love seeing your photos and hearing your memories, so please do get in touch if you’d like to share your stories.  Our email address is alumnae@lehs.org.uk.
