Let's Show Some LEH Love!

We will be cheering on Georgia McGregor, Class of 2014, every step of the way – all 26.2 miles of them – as she takes part in the London Marathon this weekend, on Sunday 23 April.

Georgia now works as an Assistant Underwriter for Political Violence and Terrorism at Geo Specialty, and this has long been on her bucket list, so please show her your support too.

She says: “I’m super excited to be running the London Marathon this weekend in aid of Leukaemia Care.  This will be my second marathon (a sentence I never thought I would say!) after running in Barcelona six years ago for Make-a-Wish foundation.

“Running is not something that comes naturally to me, but it’s amazing what following a structured training plan can do…something I ignored last time. The discipline and commitment required feels familiar; a throwback to my rowing days which involved a LOT of 6am starts.

“Fingers crossed for (some) sunshine on the day. If you are able to, I would be extremely grateful for any donations of support to get me across that finish line – it has been (kindly) pointed out I will probably have to do double the amount of steps compared to everyone else!”
