Alumnae News |
Banking Partner at Fieldfisher LLP by day and setting the court alight at night, Annalie Croney, Class of 2000, is hoping some LEH alumnae who remember their love of netball would like to come along to Teddington Netball Club this season. The club welcomes all abilities and has a friendly, supportive fun approach to netball!.Annalie loved sport at school and her parents still reminisce about the team winning the prestigious National Schools Tournament for Netball in 2000!
Annalie fondly recounts: “Life at LEH has always been about sport for me. When I get the LEH alumnae newsletter, the sports section is always the one I flick to first as I am always impressed by the achievements across a much larger variety of sports that the school now takes part in!
“I couldn’t imagine not playing netball after school and so I joined Teddies straight out of school and have been with them ever since! Our coaches in my Sixth Form years were Mary Beardwood (former England netball coach) and Lucia Sdao (former England netball centre and captain), so we did have a pretty stella opportunity to go a long way with those two coaching us! I'd love to see more LEH alumnae on the Teddies team so please do come and try out.”
Try outs are taking place on Wednesday 27th August and Wednesday 3rd September from 8:00pm – 9:30pm at St Mary’s University, TW1 4SX. You can email: teddingtonnetballclub@hotmail.co.uk for more information and to register.
As this year's alumnae reunion event is celebrating all ‘Class of’ years ending in 0 or 5, we’re hoping Annalie and her friends can make it back to celebrate their time together as the Class of 2000! The reunion is open to all alumnae and we hope to see as many of you back at school as possible on Saturday 4th October. You can book here.
