The School is celebrating the success of Celia Birchall, Class of 2018, whose stunning outfit was worn by Jasmine Mitchell when she won the final of the Great British Bake Off.
Birchall, a 2023 Be Bold grant recipient, continues to make impressive progress in her creative career. Her standout design, showcased on one of the UK’s biggest television stages, highlights both her talent and the dedication she has shown since graduating.
Celia happliy states "Receiving the Be Bold grant a few years ago allowed me to purchase an industrial sewing machine for my studio, which has hugely improved both my production capacity and the quality of my work — I use it almost every day. More than that, being selected to receive the grant gave me confidence in my work and my brand at a time when I was just starting out. As a solo founder, knowing that others could see and value the story and purpose behind my work has made a truly lasting impact."
We are incredibly proud to see Celia achieving such remarkable success and we look forward to seeing what she creates next.
