Everyone at LEH is absolutely delighted to celebrate alumnae Amelia and Lydia Miller, who have been named finalists in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 list for Social Impact.

The sisters, who attended LEH from Junior School through to Sixth Form (Classes of 2015 and 2016 respectively), are the co-founders of ivee, an AI-powered upskilling and hiring platform helping people navigate career transitions in a rapidly changing workplace. Their inclusion on the prestigious Forbes shortlist is a wonderful recognition of both their entrepreneurial success and their determination to create positive change through technology.

Amelia and Lydia were inspired to launch ivee after seeing first-hand the challenges their own mother faced when trying to return to work after a career break. Wanting to make that journey easier for others, they built a platform focused on skills, confidence and opportunity, helping people gain practical AI knowledge and connect with supportive employers.

The LEH community has watched their journey with enormous pride. Early on, the sisters received support through the school’s Be Bold Grant as they began turning their idea into a business. Since then, ivee has gone from strength to strength, including a memorable appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, where Amelia and Lydia impressed viewers and investors alike with their clarity, warmth and vision.

Their Dragons’ Den success late in 2025 was an inspiring moment of pride for the entire LEH community. Amelia and Lydia continue to embody the school’s ethos that “Hope Favours the Bold”, combining ambition with kindness and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Today, Amelia serves as CEO and Lydia as CTO, leading a company that Forbes reports has already reached more than 100,000 users and works with around 50 corporate clients. Their work is helping people from all backgrounds feel more confident about the future of work and the opportunities AI can bring.

We are also thrilled that Lydia will be returning to LEH in July as the Guest of Honour at our Celebration of the Year. We cannot wait to welcome her back to school and know that her story, energy and achievements will be an inspiration to current students as they begin thinking about their own futures.

To see two former LEH pupils recognised on such an international stage is incredibly special. We send Amelia and Lydia our warmest congratulations and look forward to cheering them on as their journey continues.
