Nicole Lee Reaches New Altitudes for Charity

Nicole Lee, Class of 2025, treks Machu Picchu, donates hair, and fundraises fiercely to aid the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Nicole Lee, Class of 2025, is taking on an extraordinary challenge this year, trekking Machu Picchu to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Inspired by her flatmate, who lost his childhood best friend to teenage cancer, Nicole is committed to supporting young people facing this devastating illness.

"As a teenager, I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to be diagnosed with cancer," Nicole says. "It could easily be me or one of my dearest friends, which makes me so grateful for our health."

Nicole and her flatmates at King’s College London are fundraising throughout the academic year through bake sales, pub quizzes, personal contributions and more. She has also donated 11 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust, helping provide wigs for teenagers undergoing chemotherapy and restoring confidence during a difficult time.

"LEH has always taught us to give back to our community and never take our fortunate position for granted," Nicole reflects.

You can support Nicole’s journey, whether by sharing her page or donating the price of a coffee. Every contribution makes a difference.
