Tania Chakraborti Wins National Business Award

LEH alumna Tania Chakraborti wins national business award, recognised for Bravebird and her powerful, story led marketing that drives real growth.

It started with a love of storytelling in the classroom and now one alumna is helping founders build standout businesses.  Presenting, Tania Chakraborti, Class of 2016, who has long been drawn to the power of a good story.

That passion has now earned her national recognition. Tania has won the Woman Who Achieves Award for Excellence in Business 2026, a prestigious UK award celebrating outstanding female entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Presented by Sandra Garlick MBE at a ceremony attended by hundreds of business owners, the award recognises Tania’s work as founder of Bravebird, the marketing consultancy she set up to help founders refine their positioning, strengthen their messaging and build long-term visibility.

Reflecting on her time at LEH, Tania says the school played a key role in shaping her career direction.

“I have fond memories of my time at LEH, particularly studying English, History and Classics,” she says. “A love of creativity and storytelling, nurtured at school, has stayed with me throughout my career. It has been a valuable asset in helping founders turn their ideas and expertise into commercial success.”

Since launching Bravebird, Tania has worked with early-stage start-ups, fast-growing scale-ups and female-founded movements, helping them define what makes them different and communicate it with confidence. Her work is rooted in a simple belief that authentic storytelling and clear purpose are key drivers of sustainable growth.

At the heart of Bravebird is a focus on helping founders make bold decisions, ask the right questions and uncover their true competitive edge. In a landscape shaped by shortcuts and copycat content, Tania champions originality, clarity and meaningful storytelling as the foundations of lasting success.

The award was highly competitive, with hundreds of female founders assessed through a rigorous judging and interview process. Judges praised both Tania’s professional achievements and the resilience that has shaped her journey.

They said: “Her business is built on self-belief and resilience, rooted in helping others tell their stories, and she has overcome personal and health challenges to create something outstanding. Tania remains ambitious and dedicated to driving change for her clients and is an advocate for championing diverse voices. The judges were impressed by her positive outlook, passion and personality.”

For Tania, the award marks an important milestone in a career dedicated to helping others find and share their voice. Through Bravebird, she continues to build a reputation for thoughtful, story-led marketing and for showing that meaningful growth comes from clarity about what makes a business truly distinctive.

We are proud to celebrate Tania’s success and look forward to seeing where her next brave move takes her. We know that current students will be inspired to follow in her footsteps!
