| Alumnae Profiles |
We were delighted to welcome back Elysia Sanders, studying Geography at Durham, Ella Greensmith, taking Natural Science at Cambridge, Georgie Heale, studying Philosophy at Warwick, and Charlotte Yeo, who is doing a Computer Science degree at Loughborough.
The four first year students, all from the Class of 2022, spoke to current L6 pupils who are just about to embark on their UCAS forms so are now considering their further education options, about what life is really like at university.
They shared their experiences of Freshers’ Week (challenging), making friends (all have now found their people), the highs and lows of student accommodation (flat sharing and cooking for yourself) and how to select the right degree for you (it’s not always the obvious choice).
Head of Higher Eductation and Careers Nicky Hampstead, who arranged the session, said: "Thank you so much Elysia, Ella, Georgie and Charlotte. We've had some great feedback from pupils who really appreciated your words of advice and reassurance. We hope to see you back in school again soon."
