She says: “Our research shows that many teenage girls value time with their mothers in a safe place away from what can become toxic social media communications. And what better way to put a relationship on to a new footing of equals than to be outside running together or cycling or playing a game?
“Plus, women in midlife often need just this type of incentive to get active. There’s so much pressure on them to put their own needs last. Please do support our campaign to get mothers and teenage daughters, nieces and aunts active together.”
