There were eight different chat rooms representing a wide range of professions and industries, from the Arts to Law and from Business and Finance to Marketing and PR.
It was a unique opportunity for pupils at LEH and the surrounding schools to quiz experts currently working in the careers they hope to pursue after graduation. As usual the alumnae were delighted by the lively questions and the depth of knowledge pupils already have.
Deputy Head of Careers Nicky Hampstead said: “Our Virtual Careers Evening was a great success, and we were delighted with the amazing turnout and the enthusiastic response from pupils. Students always tell us how inspiring it is to hear first-hand from someone working in the industry or sector they’re interested in. It makes it even more meaningful if the speakers are alumnae too. There’s a real connection between past and present pupils, a sense of ‘if they can do it, then so can I’. We are very grateful to everyone who took part. It’s so motivating for our students. Thank you very much.”
