Alys, who reached the finals in the 200m butterfly stroke at the Tokyo Olympics last year, says; “I am so incredibly proud. This will be my fourth time representing my country at the Commonwealth Games, and it fills my heart with so much pride that I get to step on the stage once more and represent Wales at the highest level.”
Alys has won medals for her previous appearances at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in 2010, in Glasgow in 2014 and in the Gold Coast in 2018. The Birmingham Commonwealth Games will begin on 29 July 2022. We will be cheering Alys on all the way!
