We had a bumper turnout of L6 who travelled up from Hampton on the coach to chat to eight of our alumnae who are all current undergraduates over a networking lunch at Corpus Christi College.
The pupils crowded round with lots of questions about their courses, their accommodation and what life was like at the iconic institution. Between them, the alumnae represented an impressive range of subjects and colleges, so they had all the answers covered.
The city looked particularly fetching in the pale late-winter sunshine, as alumnae took pupils on a tour of their faculty buildings and college, to give them a unique glimpse of what life is really like at the 800-year-old university with its bustling streets, winding river and stunning architecture.
Our thanks go to Amelia Cheeseman, studying Classics at Christ’s, Katherine Crook, taking Engineering at Downing and Ella Greensmith, reading Natural Scences at Gonville and Caius, all from the Class of 2022; Miriam Eley, studying Engineering at Churchill, Claudia Bridge, doing Medicine at St Catherine’s and Jessica Webb, also reading Medicine, but at King’s, all from the Class of 2021; and from the Class of 2019 Anna Saunter, studying English at Murray Edwards and Nadya Miryanova doing Modern and Medieval Languages at Homerton.
