Alumnae News |
The route is set and, on the June 25th, the entire cohort of Thirds students at Lady Eleanor Holles School will lace up their walking shoes for a meaningful cause. As part of their annual tradition - led by Mr Patel, Teacher of Mathematics - they’ll be taking on a 10km sponsored walk through the scenic trails of Bushy Park, all in support of Momentum Children’s Charity. Momentum is a local organisation dedicated to supporting families whose children are facing serious illnesses. From emotional support to practical assistance, their work makes a tangible difference in the lives of those navigating incredibly difficult journeys.
This sponsored walk isn’t just a school event, it’s a chance for the entire LEH community, including our valued alumnae, to come together and show support. If you’d like to contribute to this heartfelt effort, donations can be made via the pupils’ JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/page/leh-sponsored-walk.
Every step they take, and every pound you give, brings a little more hope to families who need it most. Thank you!
This year’s walk is even more special as it will be Mr Patel’s last one before he leaves to take up a position in a new school in September. We wish him all the very best!
